Capitalism is ruling the world, people buy and buy and buy things they don't really need, but what bothers us is that the majority of these consumers don't care or don't want to think about where these things they constantly buy go when they dispose them. When did we become such careless creatures? When did we think we were capable of defying Mother Nature? Why did we ever think that?
Nevertheless this is not why we made this blog; here we want to let people who want to help know that it doesn't take a big effort to start changing our habits if we start slowly. You have to do one or two small changes at a time, and when you care to notice you will see you are part of such a great change! You should start with easy things such as taking your own bag to do groceries, and using returnable bottles for example. Then as you grow more comfortable with these habits, you can add more. The most important thing here is that you are aware that the first step to going green is reduce, in other words; buy less things you don't really need. Then, after reducing your consumption, you can start recycling.
We don't care that South America is only responsible for less than four percent of gas emissions; we should set an example for those out there who think they cannot battle this society of consumerism because we can and we will. Things aren't looking up for global warming, however, faith is the last thing we lose.
Please let us know what you know about this topic, we would love for you to share your thoughts, experiences, anecdotes, even tips; anything that could be helpful. Don't believe people that say that global warming is an hoax; IT IS NOT. Don't believe people that say it is too late; IT NEVER IS.
Really nice blog girls!!! I honestly did not know the things we can recycle and the ones we cannot!
